People often leave stuff they no longer want out on the curb in SF. And it rarely takes long for the old things to move on to new homes. For example, this tile art I discovered while walking with a friend on 46th avenue is now in my kitchen. It's truly beautiful and reminds me to go walking with friends more often.
You must frequent very nice neighbourhoods, my friend! Just got in from my morning stroll with Jaffa and we passed an old olive green commode someone had chucked out onto the curb. Objet d'art? Don't know about that... maybe I'll turn it into a quirky planter and put it out back where the old outside loo used to live? Whaddya think?
