the unfinished donut painting


Sometimes it's best to walk away from a painting before it appears finished. It retains a vibrant character and then suddenly unfinished becomes finished without any finishing. Sometimes.

    love this one, just as it is - you're right about the finishing/leaving it tension and you hit it on this one.
